What is your favourite pastime?
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me out in the campervan, exploring different parts of the UK. That said, I’m just as happy discovering new corners of our beautiful Isle of Wight—there’s always somewhere new to enjoy.

Role at Prospect
I started advising back in 2003 and went on to found Prospect in 2010. Over the years, I’ve been hands-on in every part of the Mortgage Adviser role, which has given me a real appreciation for the journey our clients and team go through.

As the business has grown, we’ve worked hard to stay true to the values that got us here—being approachable, caring, and putting in the effort when it matters most.

These days, my focus is more on helping the team in their roles — supporting our advisers develop and deliver the high standard of service we’re known for as a trusted independent mortgage company.

What do you like best about your role?
Helping people has always been the most rewarding part of what I do. Whether it’s guiding a client towards their goals or supporting our team behind the scenes, it’s great to feel like I’m making a difference.

I still really enjoy helping people here on the Island secure their mortgages, but I also take a lot of pride in seeing our team succeed—and hearing the positive feedback our clients share makes it all worthwhile.

What is your favourite pastime?
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me indulging my passion for Formula 1, cars and motorbikes. I regularly attend evening bike events on the Island and enjoy visiting car rallies across the UK and Europe. Away from engines and motorsport, I love spending time with my family and our two dogs, particularly when we’re enjoying a relaxing holiday together.

Role at Prospect
I returned to mortgage advising in 2006 and have spent many years working across all aspects of a busy mortgage brokerage. My journey with Prospect began in 2015 and, as the business has grown, my role has evolved to become a Director within the company.

Today, I’m still very much involved in the day-to-day running of the business, working closely with both our advisers and clients. My experience allows me to support the team while helping ensure our clients receive the personal service and guidance they need to achieve their home ownership goals.

What do you like best about your role?
The most rewarding part of my role is helping clients secure the right mortgage for their needs and circumstances. There’s a real sense of satisfaction in knowing you’ve helped someone take an important step towards their goals, whether they’re buying their first home, moving house or remortgaging.

Even after nearly 20 years of advising clients on the Isle of Wight, I still get the same enjoyment from helping people find the right solution and seeing the difference it makes to them and their families.

What is your favourite pastime?
Outside of work, I’m a big Southampton FC supporter and enjoy following the team whenever I can. I also really enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that’s camping, exploring walks on the Island and beyond, or enjoying a round of golf. I moved back to the Island in 2014 and, living on a beautiful Island is a great way to spend precious time with family and friends.

Role at Prospect
I joined Prospect in 2014 from a background in medical publishing and medical charity management. Now a fully qualified Protection Adviser, I head up the Prospect team helping customers arrange financial protection for their family, business and home.

My role in the insurance team, helping individuals, families, and businesses protect themselves against life’s unexpected challenges is incredibly rewarding. Often people fail to think about protecting the things that matter the most to them – their health, income and loved ones. For many, family is everything, and making sure our loved ones are cared for if life takes a turn for the worse is a really important part of financial planning. Our home is often our biggest financial commitment, so protecting it properly makes sense.

At Prospect we have a real passion for helping people put the right plans in place, at the right time, giving them confidence and peace of mind should life throw a curve ball.

What do you like best about your role?
Our company ethos has always been about helping people – putting our client’s needs at the heart of everything we do. I enjoy building strong relationships, taking the time to really try and understand each person’s circumstances. This helps to be able to share genuinely personalised advice, so that our customers can make informed decisions about protecting what matters most to them.

Through experience, we know that our work makes a real difference to people during difficult times and this continues to be a deep source of motivation to me and the team.

What is your favourite pastime?
Maybe it’s because I spend my working day at a desk, but when I’m not in the office, I love being outdoors. Whether I’m keeping busy in the garden, swimming in the sea or enjoying a long walk across the Downs, I always appreciate the opportunity to get outside and make the most of the Island’s beautiful surroundings.

That said, I can just as easily be persuaded to sit down with a good book, a bit of sunshine and, occasionally, a glass of wine.

Role at Prospect
I’ve been part of the Prospect team for many years, joining the business straight from school in an administrative role. For around eight years, I supported advisers and helped keep clients updated throughout their mortgage journey, giving me a valuable insight into every stage of the process.

In 2021, I qualified as a Mortgage Adviser and began the next chapter of my career. Having worked in both administration and advising roles, I’ve developed a strong understanding of what clients need and expect, and just how important buying a home can be in their lives.

What do you like best about your role?
What I enjoy most about my role is being part of such an important milestone for our clients. Mortgages may seem like they’re all about numbers and paperwork, but behind every application is a person, a family and a goal they’re working towards.

Over the years, I’ve built relationships with many clients and seen first-hand how life-changing buying a home can be. Whether it’s helping someone purchase their first property, move to their next home or achieve a long-held ambition, it’s incredibly rewarding to be part of that journey and celebrate those special moments alongside them.

What is your favourite pastime?
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my German Shepherd, Jax. Whether it’s a walk on the beach or spending time in the garden, I love being outdoors and making the most of the Island lifestyle. If the weather isn’t on my side, you’ll usually find me at home cooking a nice meal and enjoying a quieter day indoors.

Role at Prospect
I joined Prospect in 2018 as a Mortgage Adviser, having previously worked in Financial Services. My role involves supporting both existing and new clients with their mortgage and protection needs, whether they’re approaching the end of a mortgage deal, moving home, purchasing their first property or expanding a buy-to-let portfolio.

As one of the first points of contact for many of our clients, I work closely with them to understand their circumstances and help find solutions that suit their individual needs and goals.

What do you like best about your role?
What I enjoy most about my role is meeting people and helping them find mortgage and protection solutions that are right for them. Every client is different, which means every case brings its own opportunities and challenges.

I particularly enjoy researching the market, finding competitive deals and working through more complex cases to identify the most suitable lender and solution. It’s incredibly rewarding to help clients navigate the process with confidence and know that I’ve helped them achieve the best possible outcome for their circumstances.

What is your favourite pastime?
When I’m not working, I love spending time at home with my husband and little girl. We’re fortunate to have plenty of wildlife nearby and, as an animal lover, I can happily spend hours sitting in the garden watching the birds and other visitors that pass through. It’s a great way to relax and enjoy some quieter moments with my family.

Role at Prospect
I joined Prospect in 2020 and have worked across both the mortgage and insurance sides of the business. My current role is within the insurance team, where I work with both new and existing clients to help arrange suitable protection based on their individual circumstances and needs.

Every client’s situation is different, so I take the time to understand what matters most to them and help them explore the options available. My aim is to make the process as straightforward as possible and ensure clients feel informed and supported when making important decisions about their future.

What do you like best about your role?
What I enjoy most about my role is helping clients understand their protection options and providing clear, honest advice they can trust. With so many different products available, it can sometimes feel overwhelming to know what’s right for you.

I find it incredibly rewarding to help people make informed decisions and gain peace of mind that they have the right protection in place for themselves and their families. Knowing I’ve helped make a complex subject easier to understand is one of the most satisfying parts of my role.

What is your favourite pastime?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. At weekends, you’ll often find me in the garden with my daughter, making the most of the sunshine, especially during the summer months. I also love travelling, whether that’s a relaxing holiday or a city break exploring somewhere new and discovering different places and cultures.

Role at Prospect
I joined Prospect in October 2022 as an Administrator and have since progressed to become a qualified Mortgage Adviser. Having worked through different stages of the mortgage process, I’ve developed a strong understanding of the client journey, from initial enquiries right through to completion.

This experience has given me a solid foundation in understanding our clients’ needs and expectations, allowing me to provide support and guidance throughout what can often be one of the biggest financial decisions they make.

What do you like best about your role?
What I enjoy most about my role is being able to support clients throughout their mortgage journey and help them work towards their goals. Every client and every case is different, which keeps the role interesting and means there is always something new to learn.

It’s rewarding to know that I can help make the process feel clearer and more manageable for our clients, while continuing to develop my own knowledge and experience along the way.

What is your favourite pastime?
I love being with my family and enjoy spending time doing different activities with them especially at the beach helping them learn different water sports. I also enjoy helping my partner Chris at ‘The Nook’, our Café on Shanklin seafront.

Role at Prospect
I originally joined Prospect in 2013 and after learning the process via the administration role I became a qualified adviser in 2015. I now enjoy working with the team, helping people buy or remortgage their homes, finding them the best deal for their mortgages and helping them through the process.

What do you like best about your role?
I love doing my best to help people through a stressful period when buying a property as I feel I can take a lot of the stress away. It is great getting to know people during this process and it is very rewarding to know I can make a difference in these moments.

What is your favourite pastime?
In my spare time, you’ll usually find me out for dinner trying new places across the Island or enjoying a BBQ with family and friends down at Freshwater Bay. I love making the most of everything the Isle of Wight has to offer, whether that’s discovering somewhere new to eat or spending time outdoors by the coast.

Role at Prospect
I joined Prospect in 2022 as a Mortgage Administrator, having previously worked in the lettings industry. Since then, my role has grown to include supporting new members of the team as they develop their skills, build confidence and learn how to deliver the high standard of service our clients expect.

Working closely with both clients and advisers, I help ensure the mortgage process runs as smoothly as possible, providing support throughout each stage of the journey.

What do you like best about your role?
What I enjoy most about my role is being able to guide clients through the mortgage process and help make something that can feel complex much clearer and more manageable.

It’s rewarding to know that I can help take some of the stress out of the process, giving clients confidence and reassurance as they work towards their goals. I also enjoy supporting newer members of the team and seeing them grow in their roles, knowing we’re all working together to provide the best possible experience for our clients.

What is your favourite pastime?
In my free time, I love reading, whether that’s an autobiography, a crime thriller or anything in between. I’m also a big film and TV fan, particularly when it comes to comedy, and I spend plenty of evenings enjoying my favourite sitcoms. If I had to choose one, Stath Lets Flats would definitely be at the top of the list.

Role at Prospect
I recently joined Prospect in an administrative role and support clients throughout the mortgage application process. From helping to gather the necessary documentation to answering questions along the way, I’m here to assist both our clients and advisers to ensure everything progresses as smoothly as possible.

Being involved throughout the journey allows me to see first-hand the difference that good communication and support can make, helping clients feel informed and confident at every stage of the process.

What do you like best about your role?
What I enjoy most about my role is being involved in the mortgage journey from beginning to end and helping clients work towards their goals. Whether someone is buying their first home, moving house or reviewing their existing mortgage arrangements, it’s rewarding to know I’ve played a part in helping them get there.

One of the highlights of the role is being able to share the news that a mortgage offer has been received. Knowing how much that moment means to our clients makes it a particularly rewarding part of the job and a reminder of why we do what we do.

What is your favourite pastime?
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time outdoors. Whether it’s going for a run or taking my dog for a walk, I love getting out in the fresh air and making the most of the beautiful surroundings we have here on the Isle of Wight.

Role at Prospect
I provide administrative support for both our mortgage and insurance services, helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. My role involves supporting our advisers and assisting with the day-to-day processing of applications, ensuring clients receive the highest level of service throughout their journey.

I enjoy being part of a team that works closely together to help clients achieve their goals and make what can sometimes feel like a complicated process as straightforward as possible.

What do you like best about your role?
The most rewarding part of my role is being able to support clients through the property buying process. It’s great knowing that the work I do contributes towards helping someone achieve their goals and reach that exciting “we did it” moment when everything comes together.

Being part of that journey, even behind the scenes, makes the role incredibly satisfying.

What is your favourite pastime?
When I’m not at work, I enjoy keeping active by running, spending time on the Island’s beautiful beaches and taking my dog for long walks. There’s nothing better than getting outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and finishing off with a good cup of coffee along the way.

I joined Prospect in 2024 as an Administrator and provide support to our busy team of advisers, helping ensure our clients receive the highest level of service throughout their journey.

From booking a client’s first appointment through to seeing them achieve their goals, I enjoy being involved in the process from start to finish. Working closely with both clients and advisers allows me to help keep everything running smoothly and ensure each case progresses as efficiently as possible.

What do you like best about your role?
What I enjoy most about my role is helping people and making the mortgage process as straightforward as possible. Every client has different circumstances and goals, which means no two days are ever the same.

I enjoy getting to know our clients and understanding their individual journeys, and it’s incredibly rewarding to play a part in helping them through such an important milestone. Knowing that I’ve helped make the process a little easier for someone is what makes the role so enjoyable.

What is your favourite pastime?
Stanley is very loveable and he loves nothing more than digging holes, a good game of tug-of-war and stealing any food that he might be able to get his paws on.
